This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Touch HD2 (Leo) device.
The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs every few days, as new builds come down the pipe.
I also build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I pre-configure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.
I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!
Looking at the download folder you will find two core versions of my ROM.
The 21901 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner! I recommend you start with this first!
The 23563 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.5 series with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys. These builds are not as stable or perfect, but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. These are also much more finger friendly throughout.

Smaller HTC menus are back, however now the Album menus behave and look correctly
Fixed bluetooth hangup errors with carkits
10001 Policy set back to 1 to allow reg editing and "debugging" for devs
Updated Facebook tab to latest "D" revision by "meltwater"
Fixed "pinch to zoom" not available in contact picture picker for the Leo
Added nice notifications icons to the cookie hometab notification bar
Added the new Google Maps with "voice search"
Updated "Bing" to the latest version
Replaced Opera 10 Beta with the final version (no typing lag)
Reverted to slightly older version of .net3.5 because of some incompatibility reports
Arkswitch is now in Ameba's exclusion list and should not be killed anymore.
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD AND FLASH THIS ROM, MAKE SURE YOUR RADIO VERSION IS AT LEAST 2.07.50 (not 51!) , OR YOUR PHONE WILL NOT BOOTUP AFTER YOU FLASH !
I RECOMMEND FLASHING RADIO 2.07.50 WHICH CAN BE FOUND HERE > CLICK <
IF YOU HAVE A TMOBILE USA DEVICE, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO FLASH A NEW RADIO, BUT 2.07.50 IS STILL RECOMMENDED TO WORK BEST WITH THIS ROM.

Par contre, j'ai pas le HTC Messaging, et je dois quitter, donc j'ai pas le temps de chercher... J'ai pas non plus tout lu, donc milles excuses si c'est déjà cités.

Pour ma part, j'ai jamais fait de MTTY. J'aimerais en faire un avant de flasher à nouveau mon HD2. Ce formatage est comme un hard reset ou il faut réinstaller même la ROM radio ?

Quand tu fais un MTTY, tout est effacé de l'appareil, meme la radio !!!! D'ou l'impossiblité de démarrer le bouzin si tu ne flashes pas dans la foulée une rom off ou une rom radio avant ta custom

faux je fais mtty et apres je flashe direct la rom systeme sans la radio et j'ai toujours celle-ci installee ou alors toutes les roms que j'ai installe se trouvaient avec la radio mais c'est peu probable.

non hard reset te fait redemarrer sur ton ancienne rom sans plus aucun reglage ni programme alors que mtty te laisse demarrer sur ............rien. tu demarres pas.tu peux essayer tu verras,c'est sans danger j'en ai fait plusieurs fois l'experience

Parfaite cette rom ... fluide, stable, pas de beug pour l'instant ...
La seule chose que je demande, c'est comment on met Swype en Francais ?? J'ai trouvé Anglais et Espagnole sur le ROM mais je ne vois pas Francais ... elle y était sur celle du 22Februar ...
tu as demandé une solution je te la donne comme le dis élias c'est une version de swype que j'installe sur les roms de NRG avec le clavier francais monsieur
Je demandais juste un peu ce que j'allais installer avant justement de l'installer Merci beaucoup, j'ai de nouveau le dictionnaire en Francais, le seul problème, c'est que j'ai perdu le beau design du clavier ^^ J'ai retrouvé la même version qu'avant, si tu l'as flash, tu veras que la version que NRG a mis sur sa ROM est modifiée, ça rend vraiment bien Enfin, ce n'est pas grave, le principal c'est que ça soit en Français !!
